We're a Certified B Corp

We have joined the wonderful B Corp global community committed to using business as a force for good. Being a certified B Corporation means believing in a more advanced and alternative business model to the traditional one. And, there's nothing traditional about us.  Our company is a constant work in progress, always striving to do better, be better and our commitment to B Corp will keep us pushing forward!

B Corp is about purpose, and the overall positive impact of a company, which are assessed and audited to meet the highest standards of governance, workers, community, environment and customers. Their uniqueness lies precisely in this search for balance between doing business and doing good; they both contribute and are mutually beneficial for sustainable growth.

We’ve always tried to do the decent thing, from sustainable specifications, innovative reuse, carbon monitoring, supporting local charities and striving to make spacelab_ a great place to work – so joining the B Corp community felt like a natural step for us. Now, our impact on people and the environment is at the centre of everyday activities.

As Architects and designers, we have a responsibility to ensure we are creating and specifying with no nasties (including attitudes). Sustainability should be an ethos, rather than an add-on. The design world is grasping this idea, and our designers are valuable agents in the world. 

It's a big milestone in our journey and this certification gives us a framework to meet high standards, set goals and hold ourselves accountable. We’re incredibly excited to join over 8,000 brands globally who share this vision, and we’re certain that this is the start of something BIG.
