Senior Designer

We are looking for a highly creative Interior Design / Interior Architect Assistant with 1+ yrs experience to join us on a full time permanent basis to work on a range of prestigious and exciting projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist on projects from concept to completion
  • Assist on projects varying in size up to £10 million
  • Attend presentations and workshops with clients to help develop and evolve project brief
  • Assist in the collection and preparation of the project briefing documents
  • Provide support in developing and implementing interior design concepts
  • Assist with design and production information
  • Produce presentation finishes boards
  • Assist with the preparation of tender presentation material
  • Research products and material specifications and Investigate suitability for use and maintenance
  • Attending site meetings and liaising with consultants
  • Work within a team, completing tasks and providing support to Directors, Associates, Senior designers & Architects and other members of staff

Experience and skills:

  • A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • 1 years’+ professional experience
  • Good time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of finishes, materials, packages and details
  • Knowledge of FF&E selection, coordination and scheduling
  • Creative problem solving
  • Confident to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of finishes and materials
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
  • Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Revit and Vectorworks experience advantageous
  • A working knowledge of UK Building Systems, Regulations and construction methods
